  • Day 1:Arrive in Lhasa

    Our local guide will greet you at the airport or the railway station and present you a Hada (presenting Hada is a special ceremony of Tibetan for greeting their guests). Then we will set out for the Holy City – Lhasa which is 3658 meters above the sea level. You could take a rest and adapt yourself to the plateau environment after we arrived at our hotel.

  • Day 2: Potala Palace – Jokhang Temple – Barkhor Street

    We will visit the highest ancient castle style architectural complex above the sea level – Potala Palace (1 hour). It was the residence of the Tibetan Dalai Lamas, as well as the political, educational and religious center of Tibet. It was built in the 7th century during the reign of Songtsen Gampo. Potala Palace is composed of the White Palace and the Red Palace.

    In the afternoon, we will pay a visit to the Jokhang Temple which was widely accepted as the spiritual center of Tibet. The precious Statue of 12-year Sakyamuni (the founder of Buddhism) brought to Tibet by Princess of Chinese Tang Dynasty and the statues of some eminent Buddhists are enshrined in the monastery. There are also exquisite murals which present the history and culture of Tibet collected in the monastery. Then we will take a ramble at Barkhor Street (half an hour) which around the Jokhang Temple. There we could experience the traditional culture and daily life of Tibetan.

  • Day 3:Lhasa – Lake Namtso – Lhasa (500 kilometers)

    We will set out for Lake Namtso 250 kilometers away from Lhasa. It is one of the three holy lakes in Tibet and a famous holy place of Tibetain Buddhism. It covers an area of 1900 square kilometers with an altitude of 4718 meters. It is the second largest salt water lake in China and also the highest salt water lake above the sea level.

  • Day 4:Lhasa – Nyingchi – Lulang Forest Sea – Nyingchi (540 kilometers)

    We will set out for Nyingchi via Mira Mountain Pass with an altitude of 5013 meters along national road No.318. We could enjoy some famous attractions on our way to Bayi Town – the location of the administrative office of Nyingchi, including the source of Nyang River, Mainstay (a famous scenic spot in middle reaches of Nyang River which was highly respected and worshipped by local people) and Taizhao Ancient City. Lulang Forest Sea is noted for its amazing natural landscapes. Then we will back to Bayi Town.

  • Day 5:Nyingchi – Old Cypress Tree – Kaddingo Waterfall – Lhasa (450 kilometers)

    We will drive 15 kilometers toward the east along national road No.318 after breakfast. We will arrive at the Giant Cypress Forest to admire the old cypress tree which was said to be planted by the founder of Bon with a history of 2600 years. Then we will back to Bayi Town the same way to enjoy the charming landscape of Nyang River. We will also make a visit to Kaddingo Scenic Spot to enjoy the mysterious waterfall. We can also take a rest in the Tibetan style village and enjoy the charm of the ancient drawbridge.

  • Day 6:Leave Lhasa
