  • Day 1:Arrival in Beijing

    Transfer via: International flight on your own arrangement.  

    We are sincerely waiting for your arrival at Beijing airport, our local guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. The rest of the day is free at your own leisure.

  • Day 2:Beijing

    On this day you will first visit the historic Tiananmen Square, and then the Forbidden City. In the afternoon, you will marvel at Beijing's splendid Temple of Heaven.

    -The Tiananmen (Gate of Heavenly Peace) square: the largest city square in the world and the spiritual heart of China, where the national flag is raised exactly at sunrise everyday.

    -The Forbidden City: located in the center of Beijing, used to be the imperial palace of the Ming and Qing dynasties with a history of around 600 years, it is the grandest integral palace complex still remaining in China.

    -The Temple of Heaven: the place which was visited yearly by the emperors who performed intricate rituals to insure a good harvest for the whole nation at ancient times.

  • Day 3:Beijing

    This morning you will have a tour to the majestic Great Wall (Juyongguan section), the Summer Palace.

    -The Great Wall: the most famous symbol of China and one of the world's most remarkable architectural wonders, it was built over 2,000 years ago and stretching about 6,700km.

    -The Great Wall at Juyongguan: located 50km away from the city of Beijing, Juyongguan Pass was one of the most important passes of the Great Wall and claimed as "No. 1 impregnable pass".

    -The Summer Palace: Located on the northwestern outskirts of the city, it was an imperial summer resort of the Qing Dynasty. With its perfect layout, magnificent buildings and enchanting landscape, it is the most splendid classical garden in China.

  • Day 4:Beijing / Chengdu

    Our Local guide will escort you and transfer to airport for flight to Chengdu, upon arriving in Chengdu, local guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel for a rest before visiting Jili Old Street and Wenshu Temple where you can spend some time sitting in its tea house to enjoy a cup of tea and absorb the special food.

    -Jinli Old Street: located in Chengdu combines the ambience of ancient and modern China. Jinli Old Street was constructed in 2004 in the traditional architectural style of Sichuan Province during the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911). Jinli Old Street is not only a wonderful reminder China’s past, but also a great place for people to fully appreciate Sichuan’s customs and folk arts.

    -Wenshu Temple: Chengdu's oldest and largest Buddhist temple was originally built in Tang Dynasty. It was rebuilt during the Qing Dynasty and features exquisite relief carvings. You can absorb the very atmosphere of Chengdu here: the temple is full of local worshippers burning incense. The tea house at the back of the complex is a great place to relax yourself and do some people watching, while the streets outside are filled with blind fortune-tellers, hawkers selling incense, paper money and statues.

  • Day 5:Chengdu

    Today, you will visit the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding.

    -The best place to see Chengdu's most famous residents and you can get to know more about this precious species in its museum. Be sure to go early for the most active time of pandas.

  • Day 6:Chengdu-Lhasa

    Transfer via: flight on our arrangement
    Transfer to airport for your flight to Lhasa. Upon your arrival at Gonggar airport, you will be met by your local guide and transferred to the hotel in Lhasa city (2-hour drive). After checking in the hotel, rest in the afternoon to get adapted to the high altitude.

  • Day 7:Potala Palace - Jokhang Temple - flourishing Barkhor Street

    Your sightseeing today will include the Lhasa’s cardinal landmark -- Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple and flourishing Barkhor Street.

    -The Potala Palace: the symbol of Lhasa, perched upon Marpo Ri Hill, 130 meters above the Lhasa Valley, it is the greatest monumental structure in Tibet and one of the most famous architectural works of the world.

    -The Jokhang Temple: located in the center of the old section of Lhasa, built in 647 AD by Songtsen Gampo and his two foreign wives and later extended by successive rulers.

    -The Barkhor Street: a circular street around the Jokhang Temple in the center of the old section of Lhasa, it is the oldest street in a very traditional style in Tibet, where you can enjoy bargaining with the local Tibetan vendors for the local special handicrafts.

  • Day 8:Norbulingka - Drepung Monastery - Sera Monastery

    Today we will bring you to the Norbulingka Park, the Drepung Monastery and the Sera Monastery.

    -Norbulingka Park: Norbulingka means "Jeweled Garden", built in 1751 AD as a summer palace for the Dalai Lama where they handled political affairs and practiced religious activities.

    -Sera Monastery: Sera means "Wild Rose Garden" in Tibetan because lush wild rose woods once grew around it, the monastery is one of the three largest monasteries in Tibet. Located at the northern outskirts of Lhasa.

  • Day 9:Lhasa - Yamdrok Lake - a Tibetan family -Palkhor Monastery - Gyantse

    Today's drive is from Lhasa to Gyantse (about 256km, 5.5-hour drive) first, along the way you will visit Yamdrok Lake and a Tibetan family. Palkhor Monastery in Gyantse before the drive to Shigatse(about 90km, 1.5-hour drive). Overnight at Shigatse.

    -Yamdrok Lake: On the old road between Gyanste and Lhasa, dazzling Yamdrok Lake can be seen from the summit of the Kamba-la (4794m). The lake lies several hundred metres below the road and in clear weather is a fabulous shade of deep turquoise.

    -The Tibetan Family: You will be greeted and warmly welcomed by common Tibetan people in their traditional way. Then you will be entertained with their typical food as snacks.

    -Palkhor Monastery:with 9 floors, 108 doors and 77 rooms. Each room contains a different statue of Buddha and the wall frescoes tells the story about it.

  • Day 10:Gyantse - Tashilumpo Monastery - E.B.C.

    In the morning, you will visit Tashilumpo Monastery and free market at Shigatse, after the tour in Shigatse and then drive to the Base Camp of Mt. Everest for you to take a close look at this great mountain. (345km). Take a visit to Rongbuk Monastery, Overnight at E.B.C. Guesthouse/Tent (limited condition which is the best choice available)

    -Tashilunpo Monastery: Painted in red and white, the buildings in the monastery stand closely together in terraced rows, offering a grand and majestic view.

    -Rongbuk Monastery: once the largest monastic center in the region and the highest monastery in the world.

  • Day 11:E.B.C. -Shigatse

    In the morning, enjoy the sunrise from Mt. Everest. And you could enjoy seeing the biggest and the most well-preserved glacier--Rongbu glacier if you are lucky. Than drive back to Shigatse

  • Day 12:Shigatse –Lhasa

    Today you will be driven back to Lhasa (about 6 hours driving).

  • Day 13:Lhasa-Xian

    Transfer via: Train tickets on our arrangement (soft sleeper)

    Our local guide escorts you to the train station in Lhasa for ancient capital of Xian. Where you could enjoy the pretty scenery on the way, also we suggest you prepare some food for overnight on train before departing Lhasa.

  • Day 14:Arrival in Xian

    Upon arriving at Xian train station, your local guide and private vehicle will meet you and escort you to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to relax, or step out to discover what this amazing city has to offer.

  • Day 15:Xian

    You will visit the incredible life-size Terracotta Warriors in the morning. After lunch, you will visit the Ancient City Walls and then Xian’s ancient Bell Tower.

    -Terracotta Warriors and Horses: discovered in 1974 by local farmers digging a well, one of the most significant archeological finds of the 20th century. These 6,000 life-size painted terracotta warriors and horses -- individually sculpted from real-life models and arranged in battle formation have been protecting the mausoleum of the first emperor in Chinese history - Emperor QinShihuang since 2,200 years ago

    -The Ancient City Walls: built during the 14th century on Tang dynasty foundations, date to the Ming dynasty; the walls are the largest and best-preserved ancient fortress in the world.

    -Bell Tower: standing in the center of the city and built in 1582, the Bell Tower is a three-story wooden structure with traditional Chinese architectural features; it is so called because an iron bell is hung in the tower to give the correct time.

  • Day 16:Xian-Shanghai

    Transfer via: flight on our own arrangement

    After breakfast, you will tour the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and Hangyang Tomb before your guide escorts you to the airport your flight to Shanghai. Upon arrival in Shanghai airport, transfer to hotel, the rest of the day is yours relax.

    -Big Wild Goose Pagoda: regarded by many as a symbol of the city, the pagoda was built in 652 A.D in Tang Dynasty to house the sutras brought back from India by the famous monk Xuan-zang.

    -The Hanyang Tombs: the tombs of Emperor Jing and his wife in Han Dynasty, so far archaeologists have found more than 80 burial pits and 5000 subordinate tombs under the ground of this mausoleum.

  • Day 17:Shanghai

    On this day, your tour will include: the Bund and the famous Nanjing Road, Shanghai Art Museum, Stone Gate in Xintiandi Plaza and Shanghai World Financial Center.

    -The Bund (the word “Bund” was derived from Anglo-Indian word meaning quay): where the great trading houses and banks had their headquarters in 1920s and 1930s, about a mile long, it is the city's fulcrum.

    -Nanjing Road: known as “China's No.1 Shopping Street” with a huge of merchandise on sale.

    -Stone Gate: the most typical Shanghai style house, it originates from the European style architecture with the combination of local cultural elements. This building style got very popular since 1920s.

    -Shanghai World Financial Center: the highest skyscraper in the world, it has 101 floors and 1614 feet above the ground. You can get the cool feeling of having a bird's eye view of Shanghai by standing on 100th floor's glass over bridge.

  • Day 18:Shanghai

    On this day, you will visit Yu Garden, the Yuyuan Market and Shanghai Old Street, also visit Jiangnan Silk Workshop.

    -Yuyuan Market: Outside the Yu Garden, a bustling market with different snacks and trinkets.

    -Shanghai Old Street: located in the Old Town of Shanghai and laid out in 1559 AD by a powerful Ming official, Yu Garden recreates a beautiful landscape of pagodas, pavilions, rockeries, fountains, ancient trees and precious flowers.

  • Day 19:Shanghai

    On this day, full day with one of best place to relax -- The Leisure Street at Hengshan Road.

    -The Leisure Street at Hengshan Road: it used to be a part of the French Concession, this street is well mixed of Chinese and French features. But now the street flanked by luxurious parasol trees and dozens of entertainment sites, making the road a well-known entertainment and leisure street in Shanghai.
