Tent, sleeping bag, moisture-proof pad

They are completed equipments if you take your tent, sleeping bag, and moisture-proof pad for your Tibet tour. But actually, we kindly suggested tourists to take the sleeping bags only, if you care about your personal healthy environment. It is enough and reasonable. Why say that? As a matter of fact, with the development of Tibet, the service and the facilities of Tibet tour are improved more. Both of the tent and moisture-proof pad could be provided by Tibet travel agency, as well as other equipments. Along the way to Tibet, such as Sichuan-Tibet Highway, Qinghai-Tibet Highway, Sinkiang-Tibet Highway, Yunnan-Tibet Highway, and the Ancient Tang-bo Road, etc, there are many small stores operated by Tibetan people and Han people. The accommodation condition along the way is much better than before.

Shoes

The waterproof hiking shoes are very necessary during the journey in Tibet. We recommend you the hiking shoes of Gore-tex if you are passionate for trekking, climbing mountains, and camping. Backpack

The big and heavy bag is not intelligent. On the contrary, a convenient and proper bag about 30 kilograms weight is right for your Tibet tour. Besides, a 10-20 liter small backpack is useful and helpful, too.

Clothes

The duration of sunshine of Tibet is the longest of China. Even in July and August, the daily temperature difference is also obviously large. Due to prevent you from the cold, we recommend you to take some clothes to keep you warm when you need. The waterproof breathable garments are highly suggested to you if you would like to climb the mountains, or trek in Tibet. In addition, the down-filled coat is very helpful when you visit Mount Everest Base Camp, Namtso Lake, Ngari Prefecture, and Yamdrok Lake, etc. It is very cold over there, especially in Mount Everest Base Camp. Mount Everest Base Camp is the closest place to Mount Qomolangma. The temperature there is relatively lower than other regions.

What's more, take some T-shirts, socks and underwear in case it is not convenient to take a shower during the journey in Tibet.

Waistband

The waistband is used to tie your waist bag, knife, and your camera. The ones made of the soft nylon waistband are better for your reference. It may be helpful in emergency, too.

Hat

A big hat is better than a small hat. The solar radiation in Tibet is as strong as you can imagine. The big hat could help you to avoid some heavy wind, dust, sunshine and rain.

Sunglasses

Sunglasses help you to avoid the snow blindness when you pass through the snowfield. It is also helpful while you are traveling in the sun in Tibet. In summer, it is essential equipment for Tibet tour.
