Advice of Traveling to Tibet in Winter

Most people think that it is unreasonable to travel to Tibet in winter. That is one-sided. 1.In winter, the temperature in day time is about 15? and about -5? at night. The temperature difference is obviously large. You have to take your down jacket and keep you warm in the evening. The floor heating is usually available in some hotels in Tibet.

2.In winter, the water of Yarlung Zangbo River is dried up. But there are still other breathtaking and worthy attractions. For example, the successful possibility of looking the flag cloud around Mt. Everest is much higher than the golden time of Tibet tour. In addition, you may meet many pilgrims in Tibet, as they usually worship to the Buddha in winter.

3.Taking the medicines for high altitude sickness is more necessary, as high altitude sickness is easier to be caused by lesser oxygen and the lower temperature in winter in Tibet, such as the Rhodiola rosea. In addition, some medicines for the cold, cough, and wound, etc, are also necessary.

4.The solar radiation is stronger than your imagination, maybe. So please take your sunglasses. It prevents the hurt from the sunlight.
