Watch

If you are not going to explore or climb the mountains, we do not recommend you the expensive but professional watch with the elevation instrument and thermometer. A watch which highlights the waterproof, dustproof and quakeproof is right for you, such as the quartz watch and the electronic watch.

Medicine

Well, as you may know, each tourist wherever he or she comes from is highly suggested to take enough and helpful medicines for high altitude sickness. It is prepared not only for you, but also for your friends, families, and teammates. Some of the medicines for high altitude sickness are recommended here: Rhodiola rosea, salvia miltiorrhiza, vitamin C, glucose, aminophylline, inosine tablets or oral liquid, Nifedipine, dexamethasone, gold theragran, and throat lozenge, etc.

There are still other medicines, or drugs for external use recommended for your reference. They are absorbent cotton, fabric, bandage, proof fabric, band-aid, eye drops, aspirin, Bufferin, pain-killer, fenbid, domperidone, berberine, Anti-infective drugs, and Cephalosporins, etc.

Gloves

If you are not going to explore or climb the mountains in Tibet, a pair of cotton glove or leather glove is fine. If you are passionate for photographing, you'd better prepare a pair of gloves which do not cover your fingers.

Respirator

It is very necessary on your way to Mount Everest, Ngari and northern Tibet area, etc. It is used to be dustproof. We kindly recommend you the small cotton respirator.

Personal stuff

The personal stuff such as the towel, toothbrush, wet tissue, and chewing gum are very necessary, as the tap water is not always available in Tibet, such as Ngari Prefecture, Qamdo Prefecture and northern Tibet, etc. Ladies are highly suggested to take enough physiological hygiene products such as the sanitary pads, as the physiological cycle may be disordered in Tibet plateau.

Skin care products

The best sunscreen cream and lip pomade are both necessary in Tibet plateau, as the climate is very dry and the sunshine is very strong there. Ladies skin is too tender to endure and adapt it.

Flashlight

In some hostels in Tibet, the electric power, straightly, the light is very restricted to use. Some hostels will shut the light after 22:00. It is more convenient to take the flashlight in hand.

Notebook and phone card

The personal telephone signal may be not available in somewhere in Tibet. There are some telephones sets in Tibet which is used by the phone card.

Kettle and water bag

The water of our body is consumed quickly in Tibet, even though you didn't sweat a lot. And that is why we always suggested our tourists to drink more water as he or she can during Tibet tour.

Knife

A small knife could be used to open the bottle or the can. A traditional beautiful Tibetan knife is also one of the must-buy souvenirs of your Tibet tour.
