But sometimes, few people are failed to go as they worry about the high altitude sickness and the safety in Tibet. How to find the proper time to enter Tibet

The peak season of Tibet tour is usually available from April to October when Tibet sceneries are becoming more fascinating and more breathtaking. The price of Tibet tour, Tibet hotel, Tibet local guide, Tibet car, Tibet driver, and Tibet food is becoming higher because many famous Tibetan festivals are held during this period. In winter, Tibet tour price will be lower than usual with few tourists. In general, the time is more reasonable, acceptable, and cost-effective, but some of the sceneries are hard to enjoy sightseeing such as famous Mt. Everest Base Camp, Ranwu Lake, and Namtso Lake, etc.

Generally speaking, if you prefer an alive festival ceremony in Tibet, both of July and August are the best choices for your reference.

If you are would like to enjoy a quiet travel environment without crowded people, so, Autumn and Winter are the best seasons for your information.

One more things is, the peak season of Tibet tour is also the rainy season of Tibet, which some places of Tibet are prohibited to go such as Ranwu Lake.

How to deal with high altitude sickness

It is actually a natural physical reaction when people reach a higher elevation without enough oxygen. The pressure is lower and the air is also very dry on the plateau. In general, people will have uncomfortable feeling when they reach 2700m or higher. Some slight symptoms may be happened such as headache, fever, dizzy, breathe hard, chocking sensation in chest, anorexia and weak, etc. Also, the acute mountain sickness such as pulmonary edema and encephal edema may be happened to tourists, both which are life-threatened.

The best way to prevent high altitude sickness is keeping a better attitude and positive mind. Do not run or do strenuous exercise in Tibet. Walk slowly and keep you warm all the time. Drink more water and eat more fruits. In general, the slight symptoms of high altitude sickness may be relieved within 1-2 days, or 5-6 days. Also, you are kindly suggested to drink some Tibetan butter tea, which may be helpful to your sickness.
