  • Day 1:Arrive in Lhasa

    We will pick you up at the airport or railway station. We will drive to Lhasa along Yarlung Zangbo River and Lhasa River and enjoy the Tibetan style dwellings on our way. Then we will take a rest and adapt ourselves to the plateau environment after we arrived at our hotel.

  • Day 2:Potala Palace – Jokhang Temple – Barkhor Street

    We will make a visit to the highest ancient castle style architectural complex above the sea level – Potala Palace in the morning. It was the residence of the Tibetan Dalai Lamas, as well as the political, educational and religious center of Tibet.

    In the afternoon, we will pay a visit to the Jokhang Temple which was widely accepted as the spiritual center of Tibet. The precious Statue of 12-year Sakyamuni (the founder of Buddhism) brought to Tibet by Princess of Chinese Tang Dynasty and the statues of some eminent Buddhists are enshrined in the monastery. Then we will take a ramble at Barkhor Street which around the Jokhang Temple. It is a free market and a famous circumambulation in Tibet.

  • Day 3:Drepung Monastery – Sera Monastery – Tibet Museum

    In the morning, we will make a visit to Drepung Monastery – one of the three great monasteries of Gelug Sect. It is also the largest monastery in the world. There were more than 10000 Buddhists in the monastery in its heyday.

    In the afternoon, we will pay a visit to Sera Monastery – one of the three great monasteries in Lhasa. It is quite noted for its Buddhism scripture debating. Sera means wild rose in Tibetan. It is said that this land was covered with wild roses before the construction of Sera Monastery. Then we will make a visit to Tibet Museum, where we could learn more history and culture of Tibet.

  • Day 4:Lhasa - Tshurphu Monastery – Linka – Leten

    We will make a visit to Tshurphu Monastery from Lhasa in the morning. Then we will trek to Linka and keep moving along the gorge till we arrive in the place where we will camp there.

  • Day 5:Leten - Salhasa - Batso

    We will keep trekking in the deep and long gorge. The highest point on our journey is Salhasa with an altitude of 5300 meters. We can see numerous religious flag on our way.

  • Day 6:Batso –Dorjeling –Yampachen – Lhasa

    You will be relaxed and happy when you are trekking on the unbounded grassland. The rich geothermal resources in Yampachen formed numerous hot springs. It is a good choice to take a bath in the hot spring to eliminate your fatigue.

    The road will be flat and wide after we climb over the mountains near Batso. We could keep moving by tractor or horse after we arrive in Dorjeling. We will make a visit to Yangjain Monastery on our way. Then we will back to Lhasa by car.

  • Day 7:Leave Lhasa

    We will transfer you to the airport or railway station.
