Tibet Adventure Tour – Ngari Petroglyph

Takhangba Petroglyph is located in Wujiang County, which is about 1.5 kilometers away from Nabulong Petroglyph with an altitude of 4720 meters. Ten groups of cliff inscriptions had been discovered here. Most of the cliff inscriptions here cover a large area and the largest one has a length of 8 meters. Many figures were included in the inscriptions, including hunters, herdsman, dancers, and sorcerers. There are also many characters of animals, among which the yak, sheep and deer took the most proportion.

Most of the petroglyphs in Ngari are works created in early Tubo Kingdom. These works reflected the ancient life story of the people living around Pangongtso.
