Qangpalin Monastery is located in the confluence of Angqu River and Zaqu River, at the foot of Hengduan Mountain Range. It was firstly built in 1444, which still reserves a lot of Buddha statues very well inside. Tourists have a chance to enjoy lots of Thangka here which is representative a kind of Tibetan religious belief, too.
Well, if you are lucky enough you will be surprised to Qamdo opera which is very special in Tibet.
Mangkang is always regarded as the southeastern gate of Tibet, bordered to Batang of Sichuan Province in east, and Deqin of Yunnan Province in south. This holy land is full of natural resource of hydrogeology, mineral products and forests, as well as amazing wild sceneries. If you are found of Tibetan folk culture, you are kindly suggested to come to the local villages of Mangkang, Qamdo.
Laigu Glacier comprises of a series of glaciers, located in Ranwu Town of Basu county of Qamdo, Tibet. Yalong Glacier is the most beautiful and magnificent of which glaciers. It is about 12 kilometers long stretch from Gangrigabu Mountain to Gangrigabu Lake.
If describe it vividly, it is like a whole white wall standing in front of your eye sight.
Basu is a valley located in east part of Tibet. It is relatively a larger town along Sichuan - Tibet highway. This town is full of natural scenery and cultural scenery, which becomes a transit town for tourists from Sichuan Province.
Deqing Pozhang Mountain is also called Leiwuqi which literally means high mountain in Tibetan lanague. It is about 30 kilometers away from Leiwuqi Town. Actually here is a good place for hiking and trekking as there is no highway available around the mountain.
On June 15th, Tibetans will come and walk around this holy mountain to pray.
