The Summer Palace of Panchen Lamas, located at south of Tashilhunpo Monastery, was the summer palace built by the tenth Panchen Lama in 1954. It is also named Deqing Gesangpozang, The architectures of the Summer Palace of Panchen Lamas are very beautiful and imposing, and the environment is very quiet and pleasant. It is a good place to spend the summer. There are various historical and art competitive products collected in Summer Palace of Panchen Lamas. The most famous and best one in Summer Palace of Panchen Lamas is the fresco of Meeting of Ba Siba and Kublai.

There are three gates in Summer Palace of Panchen Lamas. The eave of the first gate is propped up by four large red pillars, and the two doors of the first gate are carved with fierce and insubordinate beasts, flying dragons and various patterns of flowers. In addition, there are colorful frescos of floating clouds, fierce tigers, flying dragons, figures and Buddhism stories. The techniques of drawing are very delicate, and the images are vivid. After entering the first gate, you will see a deep and quiet path which is paved by red powdered stones and parquet with white stones and pieces of jade. The second gate of Summer Palace of Panchen Lamas is an ante courtyard. You will come to the third gate after coming into the courtyard.
