Ride along Tang – Bo Ancient Road and G214 National Highway

D11 Mado – Yeniugo

It always takes about 4 hours to ride a bicycle from Mado to Yeniugou along Tang – Bo Ancient Road and G214 National Highway. It is approximately 59 kilometers long. It is asphalt road.

D12 Yeniugo – Qingshui River

Some tourists spend about 9 hours and 40 minutes from Yeniugo to Qingshui River. From Yeniugo to Bayan Kala Mountain Pass it is about 59 kilometers and there is gentle up slope. Next it is about 64 kilometers long from Bayan Kala Mountain Pass to Qingshui River. It is level road.

D13 Qingshui River – Xiewu

To ride a bicycle from Qingshui River to Xiewu it takes about 5 hours. It is approximately 103.34 kilometers long in total. There are some steep up slopes and down slopes on the way. Some sections of the road condition are fine but some are not.

D14 Xiewu – Yushu of Qinghai Province

Some tourists spend 4 hours and 10 minutes in general. From Xiewu to Tongtian River it is about 22 kilometers and there are some gentle down slopes. Next it is old asphalt road to Yushu of Qinghai Province. Yushu is about 26 kilometers far.

D15 Yushu

It is better to spend one day in Yushu. You could relax yourself and get some supplies again.

D16 Yushu – Xialaxiu

In the morning we will ride ahead to the guideboard of the Temple of Princess Wencheng. It is about 20 kilometers far from Yushu. And then we will ride about 73 kilometers to Xialaxiu. The slopes are up and down on the way. It is old asphalt road. It takes about 5 hours and a half.

D17 Xialaxiu – Nangqyan

Firstly we will reach 910 Area of G214 National Highway and then go ahead to Nangqyan. Nangqyen is approximately 83.65 kilometers far. We usually take about 5 hours and 10 minutes.

D18 Nangqyan – Gyasangka

Today we will be a little tired as the road condition is not very fine and Gyasangka is a little far away. We will be 1045 Area of G214 National Highway from Nangqyan. There are some steep slopes on the way. It is 62 kilometers to G214 National Highway. And then we will ride forward to Quzega Gorge which is about 32 kilometers far. The road condition is very bad after passing Quzega Gorge. There is gravel road, stone road and flooded road to Gyasangka. It may take about 8 hours.

D19 Gyasangka – Riwoqe Town

The slopes are steep from Gyasangka to Tingsang. And then we will ride to Riwoqe Town forward. It is about 76.80 kilometers long in total. There are all gravel roads on the way and the road condition is very bad. Take care.

D20 Riwoqe Town – Riwoqe County

It may takes about 2 hours to ride a bicycle to Riwoqe County. There are all gravel roads and flooded roads. It is about 33.05 kilometers far from Riwoqe Town.

D21 Riwoqe County – Qamdo

It usually takes about 8 hours. You will be arrived in Qamdo by way of many Daobans along the way. You could have a rest or have lunch in Daoban. There is earth road, flooded road and asphalt road. It is 111.87 kilometers far.

D22 Qamdo Prefecture

We are close to Lhasa City, you'd better spend one day in Qamdo Prefecture of Tibet.

D23 Qamdo – Yipu Village nearby Bangda Airport

It is approximately 131.45 kilometers far. You may spend 9 hours and a half. It is asphalt road.

D24 Yipu Village – Basu County

Basu County is located about 141.97 kilometers far from Yipu Village. It is old asphalt road today. You may spend 9 hours and 20 minutes. Some sections of the road condition are fine but some are not.
