1. More vegetables and fruit are good for you as the dry weather of Xining's. The local food is an irresistible lure to tourists but abstinence of mutton is a kind suggestion to you. Too much mutton will damage your average physical power and health.

2. If it is possible, you'd better take some VC instead of many vegetables.

3. Well, Xining is a part of Qinghai Tibetan area, the pear wine easily intoxicates people. If you aim at make yourself unalive during the trip, so try it much.

4. It is a traditional custom that the empty bowl will be fill in Tibetan butter tea while guesting you.

5. To respect personal religions, do not take the pork or other prohibitive stuffs of Muslim people into Muslim area.

6. The celestial burial in Tibetan area is not available to tourists. It is forbidden to watch otherwise you get the permission of the families.

7. The standard hostel is about 60 RMB / per room. You could have a little bargain if you are asked to paid more than it.

8. The air-condition is available in Xining, so do not need to worry much about the hot summer.

9. Due to the highland location, the water in Xining is very cool. Do not take a shower with the cold water if you do not want to have a cold.

10. Tell the driver where you are going to go before you take a taxi. In general, the taxi start from 6 RMB.
