The ticket office of Jokhang Temple is on right side of the front gate. The entrance ticket of Jokhang Temple is 85 CNY. Tibetans are free. After buying the entrance ticket, you are suggested to keep it because you can go to visit Jokhang Temple for several times with one ticket.

If you want to photograph in main hall of Jokhang Temple, you need to pay other 90 CNY to buy a photography permit.

Best Season

The best season of visiting Jokhang Temple is from May to October.
