1. When planning to travel to Tibet, what documents do I need?

Documents you need are valid passport, valid China visa and Tibet travel permit (sometimes it is called Tibet entry permit or Tibet visa).

2. Do I need a China visa?

China visa is required for all visitors traveling to mainland China, no matter for business or pleasure. Visa is needed even if you only stay in China for a few hours.

3. Do I need to apply for another China visa after traveling to Tibet?

Totally not. As Tibet is an autonomous region of China, there is no need to apply for another visa after your tour in Tibet.

For example:

You travel in Beijing for 10 days, then goes to Tibet for travel for 8 days, after that you can travel to any other cities in mainland China with your original China visa.

4. What is Tibet Travel Permit?

It is an official document that allows foreign travelers to enter into Tibet. It is issued by the Tibet Tourism Bureau. Tibet Travel Permit is also called Tibet Entry Permit.

5. What need I do to obtain aTibet Travel Permit?

You need offer us the clear scanned copies of your passport and China visa, and fill a form we offered to you. The following information are included.
a. Full name
b. Gender
c. Date of birth
d. Passport number
e. Nationality.
f. Occupation

6. We are two British; can we get the Tibet Travel Permit easily?
