It is a wild area with profound history and abundant products of Ngari Prefecture, however it is far from Tibet center, Lhasa City. Depart from Lhasa to Latse along the National Road 318 and then enter Ngari Prefecture. It is asphalt road and the road condition is good. It is called the southern route. It usually takes 2 days driving.
Along the northern route to reach Ngari Prefecture by way of Lhasa, Shigatse, Choqyem County, Gaize County and Gegye County. The final destination would be the Shiquan Town. It usualy takes 3 days driving.
This one is well known for most of the enthusiasts of explorers and hikers. They would like to enter Ngari Prefecture via the National Road 219 from Yecheng of Xinjiang. It usually takes the whole day driving to the Shiquan River Town from Yecheng.
