Tibet Adventure Tour – Rongma Hotspring

Rongma means "red gorge" in Tibetan. The mountains about 5 kilometers away from the county seat of Rongma County are as red as the cassock of the lamas. There are many spring mouths around the sinter. The spring water flows out like strings of pearls.

The mouths of the spring at Rongma Spring vary in shapes and sizes. The stalactites which could be dated back to hundreds years ago would also surprise you. There are two Buddhism stupas piled up with screes at the foot of the mountain. Tourists here would found the prayer flags are flying over the spring water.

Rongma Spring is all natural so far. There is no artificial trace except the two Buddhism stupas composed of screes and the prayer flags. The local Tibetans said that few people visited here and they would come here to wash their clothes in the cold winter.

Tourists planning a Tibet adventure tour here could appreciat the peculiar hotsping landscape in the remote area on Tibet Plateau. Though it is not as noted as Yampachen Hotspring, it is also a place worth visiting.
