Preparation before Tibet tour starts

10.The cold cure, salicylic acid, Antidiarrheal, the Ageratum-liquid, the safflower oil, amoxicillin (or other types of the anti-inflammatory drugs), the stomach medicine, and Rhodiola rosea (it is helpful to avoid the high altitude sickness).

11.The useful and valid documentations such as the identity card, passport and Tibet Travel Permits. Money, notebook, and pens.

From Chengdu to Lhasa

1.There are many logistics companies in China. You can ask for the service to transport your bicycle in Chengdu. We kindly recommend you China Railway Express, and Deppon Express. The transport costs about 200 RMB.

2.You can take the train or the plane with your bicycle. There may be some additional service charges of taking the train. It doesn't cost the extra expenses if your bicycle is not over the weight of 20kg. Therefore remember to deflate the air of the bicycle tires.

3.Of course you also can buy a bicycle in Chengdu. And then it is easily to start your Tibet tour.

Depart from Lhasa

1.Well, taking the plane with your bicycle is also available from Gonggar Airport.

2.If you would like to take the train out of Lhasa City, you could pack your bicycle well. We kindly recommend Wind-horse Feiyang Youth Hostel which provides the bale ties. Wind-horse Feiyang Youth Hostel is located about 40 meters far from Yak Hotel. The bale ties cost about 5 RMB. The woven bag costs about 10 RMB.
