It is not only noted as an ideal place for the coexistence of human beings and nature, but also noted as a holy center for it enshrines statue of Master Padmasambhava. It is researched that this ancient monastery has a history of hundreds years which could be dated back to the middle 17th century.
Qutzeker Hot Spring is about 102 kilometers away from Mangkang County Seat. It backs on the magnificent Dameiyung Snow Mountain and faces the running Lantsang River. There are totally 108 hot spring mouths with different water yield and temperature (between 20 Celsius and 80 Celsius). It is said that the hot spring resource here is rich in mineral substances which are pretty beneficial for physical health.
