D12 Doma Village (K829, 4600m) – Unnamed Lake – Pangongtso Lake – Ritu County

It is approximately 106 kilometers far from Damo Village to Ritu County. There is an up slope of 16 kilometers long and a down slope of 15 kilometers long from Doma Village to Unnamed Lake. It is rough road. And the ride ahead you will find Pangongtso Lake. It is beautiful and amazing. Pangongtso Lake is a freshwater lake. It is relatively better to camp nearby Pangongtso Lake.

After passing Pangongtso Lake there is a long asphalt road. And then you will get into Ritu County. The food and accommodation condition in Ritu County are both fine.

The regular buses operated between Ritu County and Lion Spring River are available. If you have enough time you could take a view of the Lion Spring River.

D13 Ritu County – Risong Village – Lameila Mountain Pass (4875m) – Lion Spring River

It is approximately 126 kilometers far from Ritu County to Lion Spring River. There are all asphalt roads. There is a long up slope of 90 kilometers long and a down slope of 35 kilometers long. The murals ruins are available not far from Ritu County. Risong Village is located about 33 kilometers far. You may overnight in Risong Village.

There is a checkpoint available in front of the Risong Village, and there is a long up slope of 7 kilometers long in front of Lameila Mountain Pass. The Lion Spring River is not far from Lameila Mountain Pass. There is a checkpoint before you get into the Lion Spring River. Foreign tourists need to offer your Tibet Travel Permits. You may send something home from here.

D14 Lion Spring River – Shazidaban (4782m) – Kunsa Airport Road – Tsada County – Naburu Village

It is approximately 76 kilometers far from the Lion Spring River to the Naburu Village. There is an up slope in front of the Lion Spring River. There is a rough road of 2 kilometers long in front of the Tsada crossing. Tsada County is located on the right about 180 kilometers far. The famous attraction of Tsada County is the Ruins of Guge Kingdom and Tsada Soil Forest.

D15 Naburu Village – Unnamed Mountain Pass (4650m) – Gyangpu Village – Tsada Crossing – Bar Army Service Station (have lunch) – Sodui Village – Jiala Mountain Pass (4810m) – Mentu Village

It is approximately 110 kilometers far from Naburu Village to Mentu Village. There is along up slope in front of Naburu Village. You may overnight in Bar Army Service Station. Sodui Village is about 10 kilometers far from Bar Army Service Station. You could overnight in the Shangquan River Hostel which is nearby Mentu Village. It costs about 100 RMB per bed per person. It is safe and healthy.
