Entrance tickets of the scenic spots are of great importance for tourists planning a Tibet tour. Please note that it is very difficult to get an entrance ticket during the peak season of Lhasa tours. Tibet Tour will reserve tickets for tourists who want to pay a visit to the most noted and popular scenic spots in Lhasa in advance. Hence, tourists are highly advised to book the tour as soon as possible so as to leave us enough time to get you the entrance tickets.

According to the staff of the administrative office of Potala Palace, tourists who want to make a visit to Potala Palace are required to order the entrance ticket one day in advance. The order service would be available between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00p.m. There is no extra fee while booking the ticket. ID, passport and other valid documentation should be provided while booking. For the protection of Potala Palace, the administrative office decided to limit the visitors enter into Potala Palace under 4000 each day during the peak season.

Notice of Lhasa Tours in High Season – Flight and Train Tickets

There are direct trains and fights between Lhasa and Chengdu, Chongqing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Beijing. It should be noted that a large number of tourists would rush to Lhasa in the peak season, especially between June and September. Besides, tourists should note that the original copy of the Tibet Travel Permit is required when you board on the flight to Lhasa.
