When developed very well and quickly in Tibet region, unique Tibetan Buddhism culture and history have been created and succeeded. So it is not correct if you think that everything is same in both of Indian city and Tibet, such as scenery, living environment, belief, and behaviors. If you plan a Tibet tour from India, you will find different notes and tips while traveling.

1. In Tibet, we usually say Tashi Delek which literally means hello. In India, people say Namaste.

2. In India, lovers would better not hug or kiss in public which is not acceptable by Indians.

Being different from Tibet, many religions have been respected and pursued by Indian people. For example, about 80% Indians believe Hinduism, others believe in Isam, Buddhism, Christian, and Sikhism. But in Tibet, almost all the Tibetans believe in Buddhism deeply.

In India, Rupee is the only one currency used in public. The banks offers the currency exchange service. When you leave India, Rupee is not allowed to take out the country.
