As one of the favorite destinations of tourists, there are some India traveling notes arranged for your information. It includes some suggestions of India climate, suitable clothes during India tour, and healthy tips. All that we think about is preparing for your perfect trip in this land.

India Traveling Notes - Climate

It is said that there are 6 seasons, spring, summer, monsoons, early autumn, late autumn, and winter. The main season could be categorized into 3 seasons, summer, winter and rainy season. Summer is considered from March to June, rainy season is considered from June to October and the winter is from November to March. In general, the best time to travel to India is from October to March every year, i.e, the winter is the best season to visit India.

There is one more thing you should notice, that the climate in India could be said the most changeful. For example, while the southern India is being lashed by tropical monsoon rain, the northern part is going to be blanketed in thick snow.

But the different seasons and durations have given rise to diverse festivals.

India Traveling Notes - Clothes

The cool and ventilated clothes are better to prevent the strong sunlight. And the broad-brimmed straw hat and sunglasses are also helpful. If you travel to India in rainy reason, the rainproof stuffs should be taken by you. In winter, you are highly suggested to take your warm but light coat, as there is no hearting installation in India Bus. If you think you could take some sweaters off in the bus, you may wrong.

When you visit the temples or other holy places in India, the long dress or long pants are suitable, no vest or shorts. If you enter Muslim area, women are required to wear the baggy or long gown.

In New Delhi, the temperature in day and night changes a lot. For example, the shirts for you in day time is totally okay, but the sweater is better for you in night.

In India Golden Triangle Area, jacket, woolen sweater, casual pants and purified cotton shirts are suggested to you from January to March. From April to August, you should wear T-shirts, sandal, casual shoes, short pants, skirts, or swimming suit. From September to October, the jacket and some summer clothes are recommended to you. In the rest months, the warm jacket, long shirts and pants are suggested for your information.

India Traveling Notes - Healthy Tips

You should take care of your stomach in India. Of course the food there is wonderful, but you should pay attention to the food security when you take them. You are kindly suggested not to buy food from the small stall keeper. And do remember to boil the tap water firstly as it is not safe to drink directly. Actually, some travel agencies will offer tourists one bottle of mineral water/p.p per day.
