One More Tibet Tour Flight (Chongqing – Nyingchi)will be Opened

Direct flight between Chongqing and Nyingchi will be opened in February 2, 2012 according to Chongqing Airport. It is reported that this flight is opened by Tibet Air. There are three flights every week. The flight between Chongqing and Nyingchi is the second airline between Chongqing and Tibet. It offers more choice for tourists planning a Tibet tour from Chongqing.

Chongqing Airport has opened 12 plateau destinations so far, including Lhasa, Jiuzhaigou Valley, Kangding, Panzhihua, Xichang, Kunming, Lijiang, Tengchong, Shangri-La, Dali, Xishuangbanna and Xining.

It is reported that the Airbus 319(the most advanced plateau-suitable airbus so far) will be put into the operation of the imminent opening flight between Chongqing and Nyingchi. This flight will be opened on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday each week. There are 126 seats on this flight.

The flight between Chongqing and Nyingchi will departure from Chongqing at 7:00 and arrive in Nyingchi at 9:15 in the morning. Then it will departure from Nyingchi at 9:55 and arrive in Chongqing at 12:05.

The opening of the flight between Chongqing and Nyingchi will offer convenience for tourists planning a Tibet tour from Chongqing. Tourists could enter into Tibet from Nyingchi and leave Tibet from Lhasa.
