What to Pack - Equipments

Certification

ID card, Tibet Travel Permits, Aliens' Travel Permit and Military Allowance, passport, Chinese visa and your student certification of your school or work certification of your company.

Bank Card, Cash

Enough cash is that we especially recommend to you as there are relatively few banks in Tibet.

Bank card of Agricultural Bank of China or Postal Savings Bank of China is recommended to you as the branches of these two banks are more than other banks in Tibet.

Backpack

Backpack of 45L weight is much suitable for you during Tibet tour. If the backpack is much too heavy, it will waste your oxygen in highland.

Shoes

Shoes with hard soles is better for you when you walk in a rainy day or walk in the silt in Tibet. Other shoes for travelling are also good.

Clothes

If you are going to travel to Namtso or Mt. Everest Base Camp, thick coat, down jacket, and warm hat are necessary in different seasons during Tibet tour besides usual clothes.

If you are coming in summer, the equipments prevent the strong sunlight such as sunglasses, lip balms, sun block, skin creams as well as higher SPF sun-cream.

Camera, Telephone

It is a beauty everywhere in Tibet, which can be one your pictures of your Tibet tour. Thus a better equiped camera is necessary for you. You need to confirm enough stotage card and battery.

In the meanwhile, pay attention to your telephone that used to contact with your families, travel agency and local guide in emmergency.

Medicines

Aspirin or paracetamol - for pain or fever, Antibiotics – When you feel beaten or tired, it will be useful for you or someone, Cold and flu tablets, throat lozenges and nasal decongestant – for cold sickness or accident, and Antidiarrheal – for stomach sickness, etc.
