Ancient Xiuba Castle

Ancient Xiuba Castle was established in late Tang Dynasty. Even though it was destroyed a lot in past years, it is still historic and magnificent. It consists of 5 ancient thousand-year castles. In ancient times, people usually climbed to the top of the castle and burned the smoke. The smoke was a kind of ways used to exchange the information.

Location: Kongpu Gyangda County, nearby G318 National Highway (Sichuan-Tibet Highway).

Apei Folk Culture Village

It was the location where Apei Family lived. Apei Family was once a noble family in ancient times. And Apei Folk Culture Village was the only one ruin of Apei Family which preserved well till now in Nyingchi Prefecture in Tibet. It was constructed across from the original Apei Folk Culture Village. It is characteristic of the Tibetan architecture and Tibetan historical customs.

Location: Apei Village of Kongpu Gyangda County.

Paga Monastery

Paga Monastery was built during the period of the 5th Dalai Lama standing about 5000 meters high. It is highly respected by Yellow Sect (Gelug Sect). There are 1000 Buddha statues inside Paga Monastery.

Location: Nyangpu Village of Kongpu Gyangda County.

Ancient Zhamu Town

Ancient Zhamu Town was available between the peak of silver Boshulaling and the primitive thick forests. Once acted the capital of local political power of Bome County in ancient times, it is an ancient town with thousands of year's history. Nowadays, it attracts large numbers of people to visit and it has been developed very well.

Location: Zhamu Town of Bome County.

Dodong Monastery

It was once one of the representative monasteries of Nyingma Sect in Buddhism history. It was built surrounded by dense forests. Dodong Monastery looks very magnificent and the golden rooftop is shining in the sun. There are full of beautiful and colorful murals and paintings inside Dodong Monastery, besides many Buddha Statues.

Location: the southwest part of Zhamu Town of Bome County.

Gushang Lake

It is an amazing plateau lake in Tibet region and embraced by thick forests, high snow mountains, beautiful flowers and small Tibetan villages on both sides. It is the paradise of plateau fishes. Some rare fishes are available in Gushang Lake such as the "Zhamu Fish".

Location: Gushang Village of Zhamu Town of Bome County.

Galang Lake

Galang Lake covers an area of 2 square kilometers and is full of waterweeds along the way. The palace of Galang Kingdom was once built on the lakeside of Galang Lake.

Location: Galang Village of Zhamu Town of Bome County.

Tongmai Natural Barrier

It is the most dangerous section of Sichuan – Tibet Highway (G318 National Highway), as many natural disasters frequently happened along Tongmai Natural Barrier, such as the debris flow and collapse, etc. It is also the dangerous road section throughout the world.

Location: Tongmai Village of Bome County.

Kaqyen Glacier

It is not only one of the largest glaciers of China, but also the largest ocean glacier of China, too. It is about 19 kilometers long and covers an area of 90 square kilometers.

Location: Bagai Village of Bome County.

Lado Lake

It is about 3700 meters high and consists of 5 lakes in different shapes. It covers an area of 6 square kilometers.

Location: Langxan County.

Yarlung Zangbo Grand Canyon

It is the well known largest grand canyon of the world, which has been formed at the foot of Namjagbarwa Mountain of Himalaya Mountain. There are 3786 species of rare floras.

Location: along Yarlung Zangbo River.
