The Himalaya Hotel which was funded by Tibetan Holy Land Limited Company is a three-star standard hotel concerning on foreign affairs, as well as one of star standard hotels with modern service facilities in Lhasa City, Tibet. It opened on September 1st, 1998. It is located on the north bank of Lhasa River. It is close to old city and various enterprises and government institutions. The construction area of the Himalaya Hotel is 15,000 square meters. The whole construction of Himalaya Hotel can be divided into two conjoint buildings on south side and north side. It is in the shape of "H". It integrated construction styles of Tibetan, Han Nationality and the West.

Himalaya Hotel – Guest Room

The North building of the Himalaya Hotel which was constructed on June 1st, 1997 is the highest building in the east section of Lhasa City with the height of 38.58 meters, as well as one of the landmark buildings in Lhasa City. The Himalaya Hotel is with 9 floors and 133 guest rooms. Guest rooms of the Himalaya Hotel are wide and comfortable and with rich nationality characteristics. The passage and guest rooms are paved with carpet. In addition, the whole hotel is equipped with central air conditioner system, fresh air system, automatic spraying system and fire alarm system.

Himalaya Hotel – Dining Hall

The Himalaya Hotel is equipped with Chinese and Western dining halls, Tibetan style dining hall where songs and dances performed, multifunctional hall, bar in the lobby, bar and meeting rooms which can be used to have meals and hold banquet, cocktail party and party with different scale.
