Special Festivals in Nyingchi – Peach Blossom Festival

Most of the local Tibetans would always like to make circumambulation around Baksumtso Lake on April 15th according to the Tibetan calendar. April 15th is quite a special day for the devout pilgrims of Tibetan Buddhism since Sakyamuni was born and passed away on that day. The pilgrims all around the world would circumambulate around Baksumtso Lake clockwise.
