Bayi Town

Bayi Town is the center of Nyingchi Prefecture and it lies over 2900 meters high. It is totally surrounded by the high mountains.

Location: Bayi Town.

Giant Cypress Forest

The giant cypresses are available on the mountain slope. It is renowned as the natural reserve of Tibet. The average elevation of the giant cypress is about 44 meters high. The highest one is 46 meters and it has 2500 year's history. It is highly respected by local people. Niyang River is available around.

Location: Bagye Village of Bayi Town.

The Ancient Mulberry

The ancient mulberry has 1600 year's history. It blossoms every year without any fruits.

Location: Bangna Village.

Lulang Forest Sea

It is the famous primitive forest in Tibet and highly praised as the "Little Switzerland". In recent years, it is liked by more and more tourists.

Location: Lulang Town of Nyingchi Prefecture.

Sejila Scenic Spot

Sejila Scenic Spot is characteristic of numerous species of azaleas. It blossoms from the middle period of April to the end of June every year. In addition, it is acceptable to overlook the sunrise scenery, forests scenery, sea of clouds, and Namjagbarwa Mountain, etc, standing on Sejila Mountain Pass.

Bujiu Lamalin Monastery

It is the largest religious site of Tibet Buddhism in Nyingchi Prefecture and renowned as the wonderful numerous murals. It is highly respected by Red Sect (Nyingma Sect). It is about 20 meters high.

Bonri Sacred Mountain

Bonri Sacred Mountain is embraced by the beautiful flowers all year round. There are some legend ruins at the top of the mountain.

Location: the north part of Yarlung Zangbo River.

Taizhao Ancient Town

It is said that Princess Wencheng once lived in Taizhao Ancient Town on her way to Lhasa City. It is still preserved well. Niyang River Bridge Ruin is till available in Taizhao Ancient Town.

Location: Kongpu Gyangda County, the south part of G318 National Highway.

Bangyetang Grassland

Certainly it is famous for the grassland scenery of Nyingchi Prefecture, The Niyang River Gorge is available in the east part and Mila Mountain Pass is located in the west part of Bangyetang Grassland.

Basumtso Lake

It is the famous sacred lake of Nyingma Sect. There is an islet at the center of Basumtso Lake.

Location: about 50 kilometers far from Kongpu Gyangda County.

Niyang River

It is the largest branch river of Yarlung Zangbo River. It is so amazing beautiful that implies the tear of the fairy in Tibetan language. The water is limpid, green and white. How breathtaking it is. There is a huge rock standing at the center of Niyang River. It makes the terrifying waves of Niyang River there.
