Yunnan Province is located in the border of south part of Chin. The provincial capital is Kunming City. Yunnan Province is also called Dian or Yun for short. Acted as one of the important birthplaces of human beings, sinanthropus Yuanmouensis once lived here 1700000 years ago. Ainanthropus Yuanmouensis is the earliest human being of China and even Asia that we have found. There are full of famous rivers and highland lakes such as the Erhai, Lugu Lake, the branches of Yangtze River, Lancang River and Nu River, etc.

It is about 544km away from Kunming City, perched at the bottom of the Himalayas. It is one of the National Scenic Areas and famed for its Ancient Town of Dayan, the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, rich culture of different ethnic minorities and so on.

The average temperature is about 12.6?-19.8?. The average temperature of the hottest month is about 18.1? - 25.7 ?. The average temperature is about 4?-11.7?. The annual range of temperature is little but the daily temperature difference is huge.

Kunming is the provincial capital of Yunnan Province, where numerous ethnic minorities settled down. It is a city gifted pleasant climate that we call "Spring City". Both of the climate and the weather are so comfortable just like it in spring even though it is absolutely in winter.

Dali stands about 1900 meters high, located about 400 kilometers to the west of Kunming City. It is a historical and cultural city inhabited by Bai people, one of the ethnic minorities of China. Most of them live in the houses consisting of three rooms and a screen wall.
