Tibet Flight Discount in 2014

With the coming of Spring Festival, the traditional great Chinese festival, most of the Tibet flight tickets are sold in full price. Based on our years of Tibet travel organization experience, Tibet flights discount in 2014 will be available after Chinese New Year's Eve, that is January, 30th. As of now, the full price flight tickets without any discount of hot domestic countries to and from Lhasa are all sold out till the end of January. For example, if you check the flight from Lhasa to Beijing, Lhasa to Shanghai, Lhasa to Chengdu, Lhasa to Guangzhou and Lhasa to Chongqing, you will find all the Tibet flight discount are even unavailable.

The Airline told us that Tibet flight discount in 2014 is probably available again since the beginning of February. The night flight from Lhasa to Chengdu was opened to public since December 18th last year and the tickets of economic class may be available after February 19th. It is very hot. We are also told by Air China and Sichuan Airline that some new flights with full price will be operated from Lhasa to Chengdu since January, 16th afternoon, and the reservation is acceptable now.

But there are still some other flights with little discount from Lhasa such as Lhasa to Shangri-la, Lhasa to Lanzhou and Lhasa to Kunming, and so on.

In addition, we also contacted China Southern Airlines and get to know that additional flights from Lhasa to Chongqing are added by this airline. It is full price and the reservation of three days later is acceptable.

In summary, Tibet flights discount will be available since the middle period of February in general. Hence, since Tibet will be closed in March but actually unavailable in February either, we kindly suggest our guests to come and visit Tibet after the middle period of April.
