Singapore to Tibet – Required Permits

For the protection of the primitive natural environment and special Tibetan culture, foreign tourists planning to make a Tibet tour are required to apply for certain Tibet Travel Permits. Generally, there are three kinds of Tibet Travel Permits – Tibet Entry Permit, Aliens' Travel Permits and Military Permit. Overseas tourists from Singapore to Tibet only need to apply for the Tibet Entry Permit if you are just planning to visit some common places in Tibet. The Aliens' Travel Permit and Military Permit are required when you want to visit some special places in Tibet.

While applying for the required Tibet Travel Permits, tourists are required to provide necessary documents, including the scanned copies of your passport and China Visa. Tourists from Singapore to Tibet and holding a Singaporean passport don't need to apply for the China Visa if you are planning to stay in China less than 15 days. If you are planning to stay in China for more than 15 days, you are required to settle all related matters in advance.
