Qinghai Lake - The largest inland lake

The largest inland lake of China - Qinghai Lake should not be missed if you plan to take Qinghai-Tibet Railway. It is about 100 kilometers far from Xining City, acted as not only the largest inland lake, but also the largest salt lake of China. It is located in National Natural Reserves covering an area of 4400 kilometers. There are full of a large numbers of snow leopard, Equus kiang, and some other rare wild animals around Qinghai Lake. Also, Qinghai Lake is the first station of Qinghai-Tibet Railway during Tibet tour.

Hoh Xil - The largest no man's land

The western expeditionary film named Hoh Xil greatly impressed a lot of people of home and abroad. We never forget the breathtaking and amazing natural scenery of Hoh Xil and the running Tibetan antelope there, we can't. Hoh XIl is situated in the central region of Qinghai-Tibet plateau, connecting Mount Tanglha in the south. The average elevation is over 4500 meters high. You may did not hear this, Hoh Xil literally means beautiful girl in Mongolian language.

Namtso Lake - the highest salt lake of the world

Namtso Lake is 4718 meters high and famous for the Tibetan Buddhist holy land. It is the highest salt lake throughout the world. In the north, it adjoins the plateaus and hills. In the southeast, it connects to the main peak of Nyenchen Tanglha Mountain which is 7111 meters high covered by the snow the whole year round. Namtso Lake looks like a shining pearl inlaid on the grassland. You will have a chance to enjoy the beautiful highland holy lake, bu als o the vast northern Tibet plateau.

Tanglha Mountain Pass - the highest point of Qinghai-Tibet plateau

Tanglha Mountain is the natural boundary line of Qinghai Province and Tibet Autonomous Region, 5231 meters high. It is the highest point of Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. The main peak of Tanglha Mountain - Geladandong Mountain is over 6000 meters high. The largest running rivers become the glittering and translucent glaciers, while the spindrifts become the wordless ice engravings. Everything seems quiet and divine there.
