The temperature is influenced by the elevation of Tibet plateau. In general, it is cool in summer but warm in winter in Tibet. The daily temperature difference is obviously large and the duration of sunshine is relatively longer. Generally speaking, it is relatively colder from the March to May, September to November. It is relatively hotter from the June to August. From December to February, the climate is cold and dry.

Thus, the best time to travel to Tibet is from April to October, which the months from July to September are the golden time of Tibet tour.

Before entering Tibet

Certifications: ID card, Tibet Travel Permits, Passport, Chinese Visa.

Electric equipments: telephone charger, camera battery, etc.

Clothes: cold-proof clothes, down jacket, and personal underwear.

Backpack: a backpack of 50-60 liter weight is suitable for you.

Good psychological quality: keep optimistic is very important during Tibet tour.

After arriving Tibet

1.Have a good rest.

2.Drink moderate water and eat more food which rich in vitamin.

3.Do not drink the alcohol.

4.Do not take shower at the first day when you enter Tibet.

5.Take more clothes and keep you warm.

6.Have a higher pillow when you sleep.

Many great attractions can be appreciated along the way to Tibet, such as Tanggula Mountain, Toto River, Tongtian River, Yampachen Gorge, Kunlun Mountain, Qyangtang Grassland, and Hoh Xil, etc.
