Lhasa Tours – Jokhang Temple

Jokhang Temple is located at the center of Lhasa City. It has a history of 1350 years which could be dated back to Zhenguan Period of Chinese Tang Dynasty. There is a famous saying goes that you've never been to Lhasa if you didn't pay a visit to Jokhang Temple during your Lhasa tours. Jokhang Temple is the center of Lhasa both geographically and socially according to the local Tibetans. Drepung Monastery is the largest monastery of Gelug Sect of Tibetan Buddhism. It is highly respected by the followers of Gelug Sect of Tibetan Buddhism. Drepung means piles of snow-white rice in Tibetan. It is a typical Buddhism monastery and the constructions here mainly reflected the dignity of Buddhism. It should be noted that Drepung Monastery is quite noted for its magnificent Buddha Exhibition. Lhasa Tours – Sera Monastery

Sera Monastery has been one of the must-go places in Lhasa City. Sera means wild rose in Tibetan. A lot of precious manuscripts of Buddhism sculptures and classics were stored in Sera Monastery. There are also precious murals, Thangka and musical instruments used in Buddhism activities. It is quite noted for its special and magnificent Buddhism scripture debating among tourists.
