Check Tibetan history date, the achievement of Tibetan architecture - Tibetan Buddhist building is the highest. In the seventh century of Tubo Dynasty, the first palace named Yunbulhakang Palace has been successfully constructed. With the communication among other nations around, Buddhism was introduced from India into Tibet. Tibetan Buddhism architecture gradually created and developed.

Art of Tibetan Architecture - Buddhism Buildings

Tibetan Buddhism buildings are national and spectacular in Tibetan architecture art. They are built against the mountains and a large scale is covered, decorated by golds and colorful paintings. Actually it is a relatively long history of mergence of temple, monastery and palace structure and feature.

More than 1300 years passes, the Johkang Temple and Ramoche Tempe are the earliest temples of Tibet, which was built for pray the Buddha statue inside. The main hall is the center of the whole building, which imitates the style of Han people of Tang Dynasty and India architecture style.

When finally established the Buddhism during Tibet religions, especially compare to the Bon Sect, the original one of Tibet, Tibetan Buddhism has became the largest religion in Tibet. The symbol of this event was the first monastery of monks - Samye Monastery has been built in AD 763. Since that time, Tibetan architecture gradually built more and more large monasteries instead of small temples.

On the other hand, The stone cave temples and tower temples are both the art of Tibetan architecture.
