The fixed number of passengers in the hard seat cabin of Tibet train is 98 while the fixed number of passengers in the hard cabin of an ordinary train is 118. The fixed number of passengers in the hard sleeper cabin of Tibet train is 60 while the fixed number of passengers in the hard sleeper cabin in an ordinary train is 64. In addition, the fixed number of passengers in the soft sleeper cabin of Tibet train is only 32 and it is also lesser than that of the ordinary train. Smaller capacity of each cabin was for the consideration of passengers, according to the experts.

The capacity of the trash bin could store the sewage produced on the Tibet train in 42 hours without release.
