What is the best season to make a visit to Tibet?

Tourists planning a Tibet tour would be wondering what is the best season to make a visit to Tibet before the trip. Most people hold that June to October is the best season to visit Tibet, but tourists will find that the best tour season differs from place to place in Tibet.

While choosing the trip time to Tibet, tourists should take the local climate of different places into consideration. Tibet Autonomous Region covers an area of 1.22 million square kilometers and it is divided into seven prefectures, including Lhasa, Nyingchi, Ngari, Shigatse, Shannan, Qamdo and Nagqu.
