The First Flight from Yushu to Lhasa has been Operated

On the afternoon of April 24th 2014, as the representative of the official operation of the new airline, the first flight from Lhasa to Yushu has been successfully landed at Yushu Airport of Qinghai Province. This is absolutely a good news for the devout pilgrims in Yushu County. It takes little time from Yushu to Lhasa.

Yushu County, Qinghai Province, located above 4200 meters high along Tang-bo Ancient Road, it is famous as the original place of China Yangtze River, Yellow River and Lancang River. All people in Yushu County believe in Tibetan Buddhism that has been succeeded for over 800 years from the ancient times. There are many Tibetan Buddhist monasteries enshrined and worshiped by local followers. In general, most of the families will take the train to Lhasa every year to pray to the Buddha and take part in local religious celebrations, but now they can take the flight there since the airline starts to operated.
