If you want to enter Tibet from Kathmandu, you have to handle your Chinese Visa in the Chinese Embassy in Nepal which will spend about three working days. If you do not have extra time in Kathmandu, you are kindly suggested to enter Tibet from other cities of China, such as Chengdu, Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, etc.
